From a thread I found on GWO via google, here are a few things you can try:
http://guildwars.incgamers.com/forum...d.php?t=451466
- create a 2nd shortcut to run the game and right click, then properties, and append the "-image" suffix to the GW.exe that launches the game (it will download all the files of the game that you don't already have for a total than more than 3Go); once the download is finished, launch the game normally;
if the first does not help:
- create another shortcut and this time try using the "-dsound" and "-noshaders" after Gw.exe

Hi there, yeah I was getting this problem also, any area with heavy snow and 4x AA turned on would cause a game crash in the prophecies campaign.
I to have vista 64 but a Geforce 7600 GT. The problem lies with an incompatibility with the more recent Forceware Vista drivers and anti-aliasing. Turning off AA fixes the problem but the jaggies suck. Revert back to Forceware driver 162.22 and Guild Wars will no longer have the problem. The driver is somewhat old now 6 months or so but GW works with them fine.
I posted an update to my thread earlier http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10238376 , also I contacted NCSoft Support and they advised it might be a driver issue and they where right. It does seem that GW has a few problems with Vista and Nvidia 7 series cards
